Jennifer Oscroft

Jenny has acted in and advised on a variety of licensing matters under the Licensing Act 2003, including:

• Legal adviser to local authority licensing sub-committees
• Conducting appeals before the magistrates’ court
• Prosecuting licensing offences in the magistrates court

Jenny also has experience in Taxi/private hire licences and worked with James Findlay QC on Key Cabs Ltd v Plymouth City Council [2007] All ER (D) 130 (Nov) in relation to applications for hackney carriage licences.
