Cornerstone Barristers understand how local government works, and the changing legal requirements upon it. The majority of local authorities and local government bodies in England and Wales are our clients, both for individual service matters and the increasing number of “corporate” or governance issues that cut across an authority. We aim to provide a “one stop shop” across local government, offering flexible, efficient and practical advice and representation across the range of local authorities’ legal concerns. We also act for individuals affected by local authority decisions.

We also provide regular seminars and training for local authorities, through regular seminars we organise on current legal issues, or in seminars and training events provided to individual authorities and tailored to their requirements.
