Health and Social Care, Housing

Cornerstone Barristers are delighted that Peggy is returning to full-time practice after her sabbatical to play water polo with the Great Britain Water Polo team.

Called up by the national team coach in March 2013, Peggy has had an exciting and demanding career as an elite international athlete including playing in the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona in July 2013 and the European Championships in Budapest in July 2014. She also played the 2013/14 season in Szentes, Hungary winning the National Championships in what is the mecca of water polo. Having fulfilled her dream to represent Great Britain in the pool she now returns to represent clients, old and new, in court.

Peggy has a well regarded practice in Social Housing (both homelessness, allocations and landlord and tenant) which is complemented by her strong expertise in Community Care (adult and children services), the Court of Protection, local government (cuts to services, benefits, equality duties) and property law.
