Access to Environmental Information

Members of Chambers provide advice on the scope of the public bodies’ obligations under Council Directive 2003/4/EC and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, on the extent of the obligation to disseminate environmental information and in relation to challenges to decisions to withhold information or other non-compliance.

In Chambers, we have the necessary expertise at all levels to advise on any of the legal issues which arise. We consider this a vital aspect of our work and we pride ourselves on giving comprehensive and practical advice, as well as providing the right level of representation for the particular case.

Our breadth of experience and expertise, and our commitment to keeping up-to-date with the changing legal environment, allows us to offer you advice, and representation as necessary, at all stages of a case. We can help you at all levels within the legal system, from appearing in domestic courts and tribunals to bringing cases to the European Court of Justice.
