Air Quality

Air quality is an issue routinely raised in the context of planning decisions frequently in relation to emissions from cars, planes, energy from waste proposals or landfill sites.

Members of Chambers are familiar with the Air Quality Strategy, the National Air Quality Objectives and the implications of Air Quality Management Area designation.  They are experienced in dealing with the methods of monitoring, assessment and calculation and the mitigation measures required to address air quality impacts, including the content of necessary conditions and planning obligations.
