We undertake large volumes of property-related work, in both the private and public sector.

This involves us appearing regularly before specialist tribunals, such as the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal, Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) and before the Adjudicator to HM Land Registry, as well as in the County Court and High Court.

Increasingly, we have found supposedly intractable property disputes being resolved by mediation.

In the private sector, we act for major landowners, developers and landlords in all aspects of commercial and residential property.

In the public sector, where we act for more than 300 local authorities and registered providers, we are adept at advising and representing them in relation to their extensive commercial property portfolios.

We act for landowners and developers in dealing with existing or claimed public rights over their land, including public rights of way, commons and village greens, and CROW Act access land.

We also undertake a great deal of pure advisory work, including the interpretations of leases, transfers, contracts and development agreements, as well as human rights and equalities implications for property law.
