Vincent practices in all aspects of town and country planning, environmental law, compulsory purchase, local government and finance law and administrative law. He has particular interests in highways and environmental protection.

Other significant work includes Section 78 appeals (and called-in inquiries) for both local planning authority and developers. These have included: substantial retail developments, housing developments, minerals, waste disposal, oil and gas terminal, telecommunications, motorway service areas, wind turbines, cable ski centre, park and ride, golf driving ranges and playing fields, listed buildings and conservation areas.

Overview

Vincent's planning work has included numerous appearances at Local Plan / UDP Inquiries both for and against the planning authority. He has appeared on behalf of local planning authorities, developers and objectors at appeals and called-in inquiries into substantial retail developments, housing developments, minerals, waste disposal, oil and gas terminal, telecommunications, motorway service areas, wind turbines, cable ski centre, park and ride and golf driving ranges.

Vincent's Compulsory Purchase work has included promoting orders for a major new arts centre, proposals in respect of a listed building redevelopment, significant town centre retail development, various land reclamation schemes and schemes to further urban regeneration.

He has considerable experience of proposals involving listed buildings.

Overview

Vincent has appeared at highway inquiries both promoting and objecting to road schemes. He has also appeared at footpath and other rights of way inquiries and stopping-up (both at inquiry and the Magistrate's Court).
