Cornerstone Barristers sponsored the RTPI East of England annual Planning Law Conference at Downing College, Cambridge, on 10th November.

Jonathan Clay, leading counsel for Suffolk Coastal District Council in the Supreme Court case Hopkins Homes Ltd v Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government [2017] 1 WLR 1865, [2017] UKSC 37, spoke about the litigation and implications of the Supreme Court’s judgment for other cases.

Harriet Townsend gave the case law update, presenting a selection of the most relevant and interesting planning cases from some 130 judgments delivered in the last 12 months.
