Court of Appeal: Holidays and recreation for people with care needs

Catherine Rowlands and Lee Parkhill will be in the Court of Appeal on 16 June, for an appeal considering the role of local authorities, under the Care Act 2014, in respect of facilitating holidays and recreation for people with care needs. The appeal from the judgment of Lang J in R (BG & KG) v Suffolk County Council raises issues including whether the cost of holidays and recreation can fall to be met under the Care Act 2014.
