Building climate literacy across the Bar and beyond – Launching the Cornerstone Climate guide

Join us on 22nd April for the launch of the Cornerstone Climate Guide: Key Concepts and Definitions – a practical, accessible resource designed to demystify the language of climate change and empower confident, climate-conscious decision-making.

As climate risk increasingly cuts across every area of legal practice – from public and commercial law to pensions, planning and beyond – a shared understanding of core concepts is no longer optional. It is essential.

This event will bring together legal professionals and those working alongside the bar to explore how improving climate literacy can strengthen advice, sharpen analysis, and support better outcomes. We are delighted to be joined by Chair of the Bar Council, Kirsty Brimelow KC, who will offer reflections on the profession’s role in responding to the climate challenge, in conversation with Estelle Dehon KC.
