This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 coming into force. The legislation was designed to “put victims first” when it came to enforcing against anti-social behaviour.

To mark this milestone anniversary Kuljit Bhogal KC is running a series of ASB masterclasses designed to cover the latest developments in anti-social behaviour case law. These are the details for the long-awaited London Masterclass.

What will be covered?

The masterclasses will focus on:

  • Injunctions (including some consideration of persons unknown injunctions where the identity of the defendants is unknown) with Kuljit and Janine Green of Green and Burton ASB Associates
  • Community Protection Warnings and Notices with Kuljit and Sharon Murphy, Resident Engagement and Community Safety Professional at London and Quadrant Housing Association
  • Public Spaces Protection Orders with Kuljit and Paul Murphy, Head of Community Safety at the London Borough of Ealing
  • Closure orders with Kuljit and Joanne Grimshaw, Head of Anti-Social Behaviour at Surrey Police

Kuljit will be speaking at this event with Janine Green from Green and Burton ASB Associates, Paul Murphy, Community Safety Manager at the London Borough of Ealing, Jo Grimshaw Head of Anti-Social Behaviour, Youth Engagement, Partnerships at Surrey Police and Sharon Murphy, Housing, Resident Engagement and Community Safety at London and Quadrant Housing Association.

Each session will look at the statutory framework, case law and the ways in which the powers can be deployed and with top tips and practical problems being covered by the guest speakers.
