Gerard Forlin KC moderates sessions at the Global Safeskies Conference in Canberra
Gerard Forlin KC has just returned from Australia where he spoke and moderated at the Global Safeskies Conference in Canberra, as well as consulting with various aviation organisations.
Gerard spoke on psychosocial risks in aviation following his contribution to the Royal Aeronautical Society paper on psychosocial risk in aviation.
He also moderated 3 expert speakers dealing with dangerous goods, human factors and psychosocial risk. Gerard is admitted to the Bar in Australia and is an overseas member of State Chambers in Sydney.
Gerard has also developed an expertise in ecocide, defined as ‘unlawful or wanton’ acts carried out with the knowledge ‘that there is a substantial likelihood of severe and either widespread or long-term damage to the environment being caused by those acts’. He recently spoke on this subject on the IBA conference in Mexico City.
