Gerard Forlin QC instructed in health and safety case

Gerard Forlin QC has successfully represented a company in a case involving a seriously injured young person. Following submissions to HSE, the regulator has concluded the company should not be prosecuted.
This result again illustrates the importance of obtaining early specialist legal advice and front loading preparation to give a company under investigation the best chance of avoiding the significantly higher penalties which have recently been introduced by the Sentencing Council for corporate manslaughter and health and safety offences.
