Gerard Forlin QC speaking at the annual HSLA conference
Gerard Forlin QC is speaking at the annual HSLA conference today, Friday the 20th May, at the Fishmongers Hall in London.
The conference and dinner are sold out and over 180 specialised Lawyers are attending both events.
Gerard is speaking on a panel regarding the representing of families at Inquests and Inquiries and in particular the recent Divisional Court case of HM Senior Coroner for West Sussex v Chief Constable of Sussex Police and others [2022] EWHC 215 arising from the Shoreham Air crash where Gerard appeared for some of the Families as an interested Party at the hearing before the President of the Queens Bench Division and Saini J. The Judgement sets out a number of important rulings relevant to both Inquests and Global Aviation.
Gerard is also acting for the majority of the families at the pending inquest to be heard later in 2022.
Also on the panel is the Recorder of London HH Judge Lucraft, and Solicitors from Hogan Lovells, Eversheds and Addleshaw Goddard.
