Philip Kolvin QC speaks at City of London Licensing Debate
On Wednesday 25th November Philip Kolvin QC is speaking at a Licensing Debate hosted by the City of London Corporation at Mansion House, London.
Philip will be proposing the motion:
‘This house believes that 10 years on, London is better for the introduction of the
Licensing Act 2003′
The debate, chaired by Professor Tony Travers, the director of ‘LSE London’, will see key figures from the licensing industry consider the impact of the Licensing Act 2003, followed by the launching of the London-wide Licensing Forum.
Philip, who is Head of Cornerstone Barristers, is a Patron of the Institute of Licensing and a past Chair of Best Bar None and Purple Flag, and the author and editor of a number of leading text books in the field. He is a leading specialist, writer and speaker in the law and policy relating to the development and regulation of the leisure industry and town centre economies.
