Public Law and Judicial Review, Planning and Environment

Robin Green is appearing today in the first of three cases concerning restocking notices issued by the Forestry Commission (F.C.). The Forestry Act 1967 provides the F.C. the power to require restocking after the felling of trees without authority. In each of the cases the Secretary of State dismissed an appeal against the restocking notice and the High Court has listed the cases to be heard sequentially so that the Court can consider common issues relating to restocking notices, which have not yet been the subject of detailed judicial scrutiny.

Robin appears for Wickford Development Company Limited, the claimant in the first case.

Robin regularly appears at the High Court on behalf of private clients and local authorities. He has long been ranked in Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 as a leading junior in planning and administrative law/local government areas.
