Tomorrow (3 July), the Inter-American Court of Human Rights is releasing its long-awaited Advisory Opinion on the Climate Emergency and Human Rights, a groundbreaking development that is expected to define member states’ climate obligations under international human rights law.
Members of Cornerstone Climate collaborated with the Global Strategic Litigation Council and a coalition of Caribbean civil society groups on an amicus brief which was submitted to the Court.
