Cornerstone Barristers Mourn the Passing of Jonathan Easton KC

Cornerstone Barristers is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jonathan Easton KC.

Jonathan was a highly respected planning and public law barrister and a cherished former member of Cornerstone Barristers, between 1996 and 2006. His appointment as King’s Counsel in 2023 was a testament to his exceptional skill, dedication, and integrity.

Reflecting on his legacy, Philip Coppel KC and Tom Cosgrove KC, Joint Heads of Chambers at Cornerstone Barristers, said: “Jonathan was an exceptional barrister and an even better person. His warmth, generosity, and dedication to his work and colleagues will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his wife, sons, and family, as well as his colleagues at Kings Chambers, during this difficult time.”
