Emmaline Lambert and Rowan Clapp today open their case for Swale Borough Council in a planning inquiry to determine an appeal against the Council’s refusal to grant planning permission for 290 homes on orchards in an important countryside gap outside the settlement boundary in Sittingbourne, Kent.
The inquiry is scheduled to last 6 days. Expert evidence will be called from Rupert Lovell (Landscape), Stuart Watson (housing land supply) and Martin Carpenter (Planning).
