Estelle Dehon KC wins Environmental/Sustainability: Bar Champion of the Year at the Legal 500 UK ESG Awards 2024

Estelle Dehon KC has been awarded the Environmental / Sustainability: Bar Champion of the Year prize at the Legal 500 UK ESG Awards.
A leading public law barrister, Estelle co-chairs the Bar Council’s Climate Crisis working group, and is the founder of Cornerstone Climate, the centre of excellence for climate litigation and advice based at Cornerstone Barristers.
Within her practice, Estelle specialises in environment and planning law, with particular expertise in climate change, net zero and energy infrastructure.
The inaugural Legal 500 UK ESG Awards celebrates the very best Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives across the UK legal market – private practice, in-house and the Bar, recognising their efforts to bring about change across all aspects of ESG; including diversity & inclusion and environmental and sustainability strategy.
Estelle will be speaking at a number of training sessions as part of Cornerstone Climate Month in May, on topics including: Ecocide, Greenwashing, Renewable Energy, Carbon Capture and Storage, and the Human Rights Implications of Climate Change.
