We are delighted to announce that Estelle Dehon KC, recently appointed an OBE, will be speaking at the Climate Litigation after the ICJ Advisory Opinion webinar on Thursday 23 July at 11.30.
Recognised with an OBE for her services to environmental law, Estelle brings leading expertise and insight to one of the most significant areas of climate accountability.
The webinar marks the first anniversary of the International Court of Justice’s Advisory Opinion on Climate Change and will be hosted by the Johannesburg Society of Advocates Human Rights Committee (JSA HRC) and the Climate Litigation South Africa Reading Group (CLISA).
Estelle will be joined by Tatenda Muponde and Professor Robert Kibuji for a timely discussion on how the ICJ’s opinion is shaping domestic and regional climate litigation.
Join the conversation to explore how courts, advocates and communities are responding to the evolving landscape of climate litigation, both internationally and at domestic level.
