Cornerstone Barristers is hosting an in-depth roundtable discussion on the plan-making provisions in the draft National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), focusing on what practitioners and authorities should be saying in response to the current consultation.

Rather than a traditional seminar, this session will be discussion-led and interactive, with an expert panel guiding a practical, policy-focused conversation. The aim is to explore key issues raised by the draft, test emerging views, and share perspectives on how best to respond.

The session will run for approximately two hours and will include refreshments and time for networking. It is primarily aimed at local authority lawyers and officers.

The expert panel will include:

– Josef Cannon KC, Joint Head of Planning, Cornerstone Barristers
– Catriona Riddell, Director, Catriona Riddell & Associates Ltd
– Jeremy Potter, Spatial Planning Services Manager, Chelmsford City Council
– Clare Parry,  Planning and Environmental Barrister, Cornerstone Barristers
– Wayne Beglan, Planning and Environmental Barrister, Cornerstone Barristers
