Jack Parker and Robert Williams appear today in the High Court in Save our Southbank v Secretary of State, a challenge to the decision by the former Secretary of State, Michael Gove, to grant planning permission for the redevelopment of the London Television Centre, formerly the ITV Headquarters, on London’s South Bank.
The issues in the claim include the adequacy of the Secretary of State’s reasoning in respect of the effect on heritage assets, whether the development was required to deliver housing and whether Circular Economy guidance was followed.
Jack Parker represents the Claimant and Robert Williams represents the Secretary of State.
