We are delighted that Estelle has been included as one of The Planner's 55 Women of Influence 2019. This year The Planner invited formal nominations and citations and asked a number of planners to help with selection.
Estelle said: "I am delighted to receive this news on International Women's Day. This list celebrates women's contribution to planning and their ability to shape our environment. Gender balance improves both how we work and the substance of our work. This is particularly so for planning. It is therefore important to acknowledge the impact that we all have in ensuring that women are better represented, particularly in leadership roles, in an area that has historically been dominated by our male colleagues."
Estelle's citation on the Women of Influence list reads: "Estelle has been heavily involved in a number of high profile public inquiries and High Court cases concerning fracking to defend the interests of the environment and those of local residents. She has been committed, good-natured and tireless. A true woman of influence to us all!"
