Permanent Licence Approved for Morden Park to Streamline Event Planning

Merton Council has approved a permanent premises licence for Morden Park, aiming to streamline the process for hosting safe, high-quality events. While events will still require council permission and meet strict conditions, the new licence will simplify applications and allow greater focus on safety and planning.
Last year, Morden Park hosted various day festivals, including RnB Nation and Garage Nation.
The application drew objections from local residents and campaigners, including Friends of the Earth.
Cornerstone Barristers’ Richard Hanstock acted successfully for the London Borough of Merton, instructed by Guy Bishop.
