Tom Cosgrove KC appointed Chair of the Planning and Environment Bar Association (PEBA)
Leading planning barrister Tom Cosgrove KC, Joint Head of Chambers at Cornerstone Barristers, has been appointed Chair of the Planning and Environment Bar Association (PEBA), taking over the role from Paul Tucker KC of Kings Chambers. Melissa Murphy KC, of Landmark Chambers, has been appointed as Vice Chair.
In addition, Cornerstone’s Ben Du Feu has been reappointed to PEBA’s committee following a two-year term and Rowan Clapp has been appointed to the committee for the first time.
Tom’s work covers a broad range of areas and developments including retail, energy, heritage, commercial, employment, residential and leisure proposals, nationally significant infrastructure projects and judicial review/statutory challenges. He is regularly instructed by leading house builders, retailers, private companies, planning authorities, public bodies and interest groups throughout the country.
He is ranked in Band 1 for planning by Chambers & Partners UK Bar.
