Cornerstone’s Property team selected by LGA to deliver national high-rise fire hazards training

18 Feb 2026

Property, Local government

Ranjit Bhose KC, Shomik Datta and Sarah Salmon of the Cornerstone Barristers Property Team have been asked by the Local Government Association to provide training to local authority officers across the country at four showpiece events in March 2026.

This is a vital part of those authorities’ attempts to address fire hazards arising in tall buildings following the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

The speakers will be sharing their expertise in enforcement steps under both Building Safety Act 2022 and Housing Act 2004, and wealth of experience in litigating the issues that arise from them.
