As part of its ambitious agenda of reform to the planning system, the Government has announced the end of Environmental Impact Assessments, to be replaced by Environmental Outcomes Reports. What will this mean for the preparation of applications, and delivery of development? How will this change fit into the wide-ranging planning reforms? Will it serve the growth agenda?

On 20 April 2026, Josef Cannon KC of Cornerstone Barristers and Nicola Gooch of Birketts LLP will chair a discussion on the issues, with contributions from industry experts Estelle Dehon KCEdward Long, and Ruchi Parekh, in the hope of answering at least some of the many questions that arise.

This is an in-person event only, and will be followed by a networking reception.
