Climate Litigation Lessons From Around The Globe

Cornerstone Climate is proud to present its flagship series for 2025: Climate Litigation Lessons from Around the Globe. This engaging and forward-looking programme brings together leading legal experts from across jurisdictions to explore groundbreaking climate litigation cases, the evolving role of courts in tackling climate change, and the identification of potential new claims.

Running across seven months, the series includes webinars spotlighting key cases from Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. It will culminate in a final session—Climate Litigation Lessons from Brazil—delivered in person and livestreamed during New York Climate Week (21–28 September 2025).

This special event is co-hosted with Mishcon Purpose’s climate litigation team and co-organised by renowned climate law experts Joana Setzer (Grantham Research Institute, LSE) and Maria Antonia Tigre (Sabin Center, Columbia University). Mishcon Purpose is Mishcon de Reya LLP’s specialist climate and sustainability business.
