Advising And Appearing At Two Compulsory Purchase Orders For Statutory Objectors
Firstly (a) at the public inquiry into objections concerning the Winchester City Council (Silver Hill ) Compulsory Purchase Order 2011 promoted by leading Counsel. I advised and appeared on behalf of London & Henley (Winchester ) Limited who own retail premises within the Order Lands which the Council wished to acquire compulsorily to enable Henderson Global Investors to promote a new shopping scheme in Winchester.
Secondly (b) appearing at The London Borough of Redbridge (Five Oaks) Compulsory Purchase Order 2012 public inquiry into objections concerning The London Borough of Redbridge (Five Oaks) Compulsory Purchase Order 2012 on behalf of Five Oaks land Limited. Underlying this CPO was a residential scheme to redevelop land in the Green Belt.
