In this video (at 2:08) by NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), Gerard Forlin QC discusses the new ISO Standard 45001 on global health and safety and environment.
Gerard emphasises the harmonisation of organisational world-wide standards, stressing the legal consequences if this does not occur. Increasingly, courts and regulators are looking not only at the record of companies or organisations domestically, but also their global track record when considering enforcement and prosecution.
Mr Bob Arnold, Director of Multiplex PLC, and Dr Waddah Ghanem, Senior Director of Sustainability, Operational & Business Excellence at ENOC, also feature in the video.
