Tom Cosgrove appeared, during November 2014, on behalf of Bolsover District Council in this important public Inquiry which considered one of the largest ‘community’ wind farm proposals in England. The Inquiry considered the proposed scheme and heard evidence from leading experts on heritage and planning in the context of a proposal near to internationally important designated heritage assets as well as considering the relevance of, in a planning context, benefits from community proposals. The case has been recovered by the Secretary of State with a decision expected early in 2015.
