Denbigh Hospital Urgent Works Notice: Appeals by owner under section 55 of the Listed Buildings Act against demands for payment rejected by Welsh Ministers. Harriet Townsend represented the local planning authority at inquiry in 2014. Works had cost over £900,000 and taken over a year. Issues: whether the works undertaken were necessary, whether the sums incurred were reasonable, whether payment would cause the owner hardship.
