Gerard Forlin KC leads groundbreaking aviation mental health initiative with global Consensus Statement
The Royal Aeronautical Society and the Aerospace Medical Association have recently published a consensus statement on “Driving Progress on Mental Health and Psychosocial Safety in Global Aviation”.
Gerard Forlin KC drafted the majority of this key document, widely seen as the blueprint regarding the response to mental health in the aviation (and other) sectors. Gerard would like to thank all the people who have helped him on this important journey, including: Dr William Hoffman, Marc Atherton and Capt. Paul Cullen.
Gerard has also just returned from Australia, the second time in a month. On this occasion, it was on behalf of a major Government Department. Gerard has worked in over 85 countries (some more than thirty times). It is believed only a tiny handful of London barristers, if any, have ever achieved this milestone.
