Gerard Forlin QC chaired this year’s Annual Capita Health & Safety Lecture which took place on Tuesday 11th October at the Royal College of Surgeons. Previous speakers have included Lord Woolf, Lord Dannatt and Anthony Scrivener QC, former member of Cornerstone Barristers.

One of the key events in the health and safety calendar, the Conference brings together prestigious speakers to talk about the importance of tackling work related health issues and new approaches to health and safety management. Speakers at this year’s event included Martin Temple CBE, Chair of the Health and Safety Executive and Leon Smith OBE, tennis coach and Captain of the Great Britain team in the 2015 Davis Cup, in his public speech.

Gerard is a renowned health and safety expert, having appeared in many of the major cases in this field in the last ten years, both in the UK and abroad. These recently include two cases in the Falklands and advising in both the Alton Towers matter and the missing Malaysian plane MH370.
