Planning and Environment, Property

In an interesting case handed down today, the High Court provides an overview of the commons registration system under the Commons Registration Act 1965 as supplemented by the Commons Act 2006.

The judgment deals with the extent to which a register of common land maintained by a commons registration authority is capable of challenge in the High Court. In particular, the Court addresses the procedure for making amendments to a register by registration authorities.

Matthew Feldman acted for Central Bedfordshire Council. The full judgment can be found here.
