Injunction secured to block illegal development on 40-hectare green belt site

Wayne Beglan, on behalf of Thurrock Council, has secured a High Court injunction to block illegal development on a 40-hectare green belt site in the region.
The injunction prevents and further unauthorised development on more than 100 acres of green belt land which houses a large travellers site, located to the north of Buckles Land and the south of Mollands lane in South Ockenden.
This is the latest in a series of injuntions relating to unlawful development in the area, with a hearing to be listed later in the year to establish whether the injunction will be made permanent.
