Advising and acting for Legal & General , instructed by Berwin Leighton Paisner , promoting an outline planning consent for mixed use development scheme on an unallocated brownfield site of some 104 hectares comprising the former Transport Road Laboratory HQ at Crowthorne, Bracknell comprising of 975 dwellings, a neighbourhood centre and 92,903 sqm of B1a floorspace.
Mary led Richard Ground and a first class multi disciplinary team at a 5 week inquiry involving consideration of housing, employment, transport, landscape and SPA issues. Bracknell Forest DC and Wokingham resisted the development as did Natural England and the ‘environmental NGOs.
