Trewern Argae (September/October 2008) First ever appeal/inquiry under section 110 of Water Resources Act 1991 against refusal of consent by environment agency for flood embankment. Involved issues concerning floodplain protection policy and listed buildings.
Crowholt Windfarm. (2007) Jonathan acted for the successful local authority, Bassetlaw District Council in opposing what was, at that time, the largest proposed windfarm in England.
Cophall Farm parking (February and May 2008) Section 172 appeal. Major enforcement case concerning off-airport parking at Gatwick. Successful appeal to High Court under section 289 resulted in decision being quashed and remitted currently awaiting re-determination.
Blue Circle sports ground (December 2007) Successful Section 78 appeal. Major housing and mixed use development of 800 new dwellings permitted on unallocated Green Belt site in Bromley.
RAF Yatesbury (2006) enabling development, residential development, restoration of Grade 1 listed structures.
Woolley Hall (2006) Windsor and Maidenhead Listed buildings, Green Belt – major commercial and residential development. Combined s 78 and Call in Inquiry.
