Yesterday in court Gerard Forlin QC, who is representing the majority of the bereaved and injured arising out of the Shoreham air crash in 2015, made a series of submissions.
In particular, he expressed concern about the application by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) to re-open the wider issues relating to cognitive impairment and the effect of gravitational forces nearly four years after the accident. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) also announced yesterday that they had opened their own separate investigation into this matter.
The next hearing will be in November 2019.
