Ashley is particularly experienced in planning and property law, civil and commercial litigation, licensing, local government matters, public law and judicial review. His busy practice sees him regularly represent private parties, local authorities and residents’ groups before the High Court and various tribunals.

A former planning consultant, Ashley has an in depth understanding of planning law matters. He is also an elected member of a Surrey local planning authority.

He is Assistant Editor of Sweet & Maxwell’s Journal of Planning & Environment Law and regularly contributes to publications including Moore & Purdue’s A Practical Approach to Planning Law and to Sweet & Maxwell’s Planning Law commentary on Westlaw UK Insight.
