The future of the social economy

13.05.2020

Philip Kolvin QC has written an article together with US organisation the Responsible Hospitality Institute dealing with the future of the leisure economy following coronavirus.

The article explains the difficulties facing the leisure sector and argues that merely allowing the sector to re-open will not save a large part of it from insolvency. A series of policy changes is recommended to protect and promote the sector in the post-lockdown period.

Philip Kolvin QC is the Head of Licensing at Cornerstone Barristers, a Patron of the Institute of Licensing and an Associate Fellow at Westminster University's Centre for Law, Society and Popular Culture.
