Gerard Forlin QC participating in Bar Council Mission to Seoul and Shanghai
Gerard Forlin QC has been selected to participate in the Bar Council Mission to Seoul, South Korea and Shanghai, China, from 4-7 April.
The Mission, led by Chairman of the Bar Council Chantal-Aimée Doerries QC, aims to build relationships with the Embassy, the Shanghai Bar Association and other legal bodies, in addition to raising the profile of the Bar in China and promoting barristers’ expertise as advocates in international dispute resolution. As part of the Mission, Gerard will be presenting a seminar session on The UK’s Anti-Bribery and Corruption Frameworks – where are we now?
In the last two years Gerard has practised, lectured or consulted in over fifteen countries, including Australia, Korea, The British Virgin Islands, China, the Netherlands, Singapore, the Middle East, the Philippines, Brunei, Myanmar, Indonesia, Ireland, the Falklands and many other jurisdictions.
