Appeal by the Secretary of State for Education under section 78 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 against the refusal of planning permission for a new 6-8 form of entry free secondary school in Bromley, Kent.
The proposed school, encompassing a building 10 stories in height, will be the tallest in the UK if permission is granted. The school also involves a radical educational model aimed at training new professionals in health, science and well-being, with direct sponsorship links to health-service providers.
Lisa Busch QC acted for the Appellant in the Inquiry which took place in November 2018; the decision is awaited.
