Zambrano update

The latest developments in relation to Zambrano litigation are:
• The income support case of Sanneh is to proceed on 11th and 12 March 2013. However no determination is expected at that hearing on the question of whether Zambrano carers are eligible for income support. That issue may be explored later in the Upper Tribunal.
• The housing benefit case of R (H) v Milton Keynes has been resolved without a hearing. Watch this space for further cases raising the issue of provision of housing benefit (or provision of local authority money from other sources) to Zambrano carers.
