Appeal By TCI Renewables Ltd. (April 2012)
01 Jan 2018
This public inquiry considered an appeal against the Council’s decision to refuse planning permission for the erection of a commercial scale windfarm (3 turbines each over 100m) at Pulham Market and Dickleburgh in the South Norfolk Area. The inquiry considered landscape and visual issues including the impact on small settlements and distinctive churches, as well as impacts on the residential amenity of a number of properties in the area. The inquiry was reconvened this year following the construction of a reservoir by the land owner so that further evidence could be heard. The Council successfully defended its decision and the appeal was dismissed on residential amenity and landscape grounds.
