Sam Fowles’ summer lecture, delivered to the British Ethical Society at Conway Hall, is now available as a podcast.
Fowles’ lecture is entitled “Constitutional Morality”. He discusses the “soft law” norms that underpin the legal constitution and how, in the UK, our constitution relies as much on “moral norms” as “legal norms”. He also discusses his book, Overruled: Confronting Our Vanishing Democracy in 8 Cases.
