Estelle Dehon KC is nominated for the Chambers and Partners Diversity & Inclusion: Outstanding Contribution award
Cornerstone’s Estelle Dehon KC has been nominated for the Chambers and Partners Diversity & Inclusion: Outstanding Contribution award at the annual UK Bar Awards 2022 this evening.
Estelle is on the UK Environmental Law Association’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team, where she is assisting with work to make environmental spaces more accessible and welcoming, particularly to people of colour.
Focusing on improving access to the profession, Estelle is part of Chambers’ mentorship scheme and has been a mentor for the Attorney-General’s Panel. She is currently working with several women in planning to promote gender equality in the planning arena.
Her work as a trustee of the Women’s Environmental Network includes supporting them as they take an intersectional approach to the climate crisis, including promoting the Feminist Green New Deal. These all reflect her dedication to this area of work.
The awards recognise a Chambers pre-eminence in the UK. They also reflect achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service. They honour the work of sets and individuals across the country based on the research for the recent edition of Chambers UK Bar.
