Public Law Week: Duty of Candour and its Impact

The duty of candour applies in particular to judicial review claims and requires the parties to ensure that relevant and material information is put before the Court, regardless of whether it supports or undermines their case. This course will look at the requirements placed on the parties by the duty, applications and arguments that can be raised in respect of the same, and the court’s powers in relation to any breach.
