Land East of Highwood Quarry, Park Road, Little Easton

Clare Parry and Tom Cosgrove QC are currently acting for Uttlesford District Council in an inquiry for a major, mixed-use scheme on land outside Great Dunmow, Essex.
The proposal is for outline planning permission for (in summary) between 1,000 and 1,200 dwellings and up to 21,500 sq m gross of additional development for various Use Classes. The live issues cover landscape and visual impacts, highways and heritage matters. Given the size and importance of the proposal it has been recovered for determination by the Secretary of State.
The inquiry continues this week and is due to conclude in September 2022.
